chinnaganjam history: Chinnaganjam is one of the oldest villages and the mandal headquarters in the chirala revenue division.

Chinnaganjam is famous for salt production and is the largest salt provider for big brands like tata and assirvad.

This village is recently divided from the Prakasam district. this village is now in the Bapatla district.

Prawns cultivation is also very good here. While we are traveling from Ongole to Chirala we can see large prawn cultivation ponds near to Romperu bridge.

There are sivalam temples and Tiranala is very famous at the time of Sivaratri. I visited Sivaratri Tirunala one time and saw various prabhallu.

Magunta Subbaramireddy College in Chinnaganjam

Ongole former MP Magunta Subbaramireddy started a college here in this village. He helped this village children by Starting a college here.
